Only got these yesterday but having tried them out for the night 1) They stay put. 2) They are very silky smooth and comfortable 3) They are slightly padded so the darkness really does stay out. If I looked very down I could see a few dots of light, but otherwise, darkness. And the nose flap, when placed upward, helps block out the extra light Overall, I'm really happy. This is an excellent eyemask that I have bought and recommend for many people. I first bought it to take with me to Glastonbury to help with sleeping in a bright tent, people laughed at me at first, but I was the smug one as I slept through much later than others with eyemask and earplugs firmly on! This is the fifth eye mask I have owned in the past two years and it is by far the best. It is made of good quality fabric that doesn't snag, the band is elasticated and feels very secure but as the silk is so soft it does not cause lines or indentations on my face. It blocks out the light fully - there are no gaps as it moulds to the contours of my face. I would definitely recommend this product. I bought 2 of those masks and until now we are very satisfied with them. They fit the face perfectly and really block 95% of all sunlight. The mask is very comfortable and thin, doesn't hurt the eyes at all. I felt a bit uncomfortable the first night, but I suppose it was because I never wore such mask before. This mask is everything I needed it to be. I need a mask as my wife likes to read in bed, so I want to block out the lamp. This mask doesn't block out 100% of all light as the edges can let some in, but for me with my eyes closed it's as good as 100%. The silk is beautifully smooth and comfortable on my skin and the elasticated strap is a perfect size for my head. The mask comes in a clear plastic pouch which has a resealable zip. Both myself & many other people I know have been struggling to get a good nights' sleep this summer, as it seems to be particularly light this year. Yet this product solved that problem overnight - literally! I thought that sleeping with something on my face would take a lot of getting used to but being silk, it's surprisingly comfortable. The elastic is also serrated in such a way that it holds the mask securely without any slackness & is not too tight to be uncomfortable either. It's also very effective at cutting out light. While I thought that some would still be noticeable from the bottom of the mask around the nose, this has not been the case while using it at night. It's very well made, with good quality materials & excellent design - yet is still affordable! This mask is very soft silk which is nice and gentle on the skin. The headband doesn't adjust but is elasticated so imagine it would fit most people. Although it doesn't block out 100% of light it does enough to enable me to sleep when there is light in the room and is better than others which promise to block all light but do so at the expense of comfort (so it's impossible to sleep with them on anyway!). 8th Nov, 2011

Our bedroom is very bright in the mornings and I had been searching for an effective and comfortable eye mask for some time. That is until I discovered this little beauty! Previous purchases taught me that the most expensive mask available on Amazon was extremely bulky, making lying side down on a pillow very uncomfortable - not to mention hot when it's warm weather. Whereas standard eye masks from pharmacies, supermarkets and airports had extremely tight elastic and were made of cheap manmade fabric, causing me to sweat profusely. Being 100% silk (even the elastic is surrounded by ruffled silk), it should go without saying that this luxury eye mask feels extremely soft on the skin. It allows your skin to breathe and probably most importantly, blocks out all light. So whether you want an effective sleep aid or a bit of luxury on your next long haul flight; I would say this is the perfect eye mask for the job. Furthermore, the service from the seller Jasmine Silk is absolutely first class, taking delivery of the product the very next day on both occasions I have ordered (My wife made me order one for her.... and yes, I am a bloke writing this review, so it must be good!!) Like a previous reviewer, I am male and have a need for daytime sleeping, and frankly I wish I had found this sooner. It is extremely comfortableto wear, the elastic is gentle but strong enough to hold on despite my being pretty restless as a sleeper. I also have a large hat size and they cope perfectly with that too. There is no pinching feeling even after wearing them all through my sleep. I have a sleep disorder, and whilst these don't cure it they help me ENORMOUSLY to get sleep in the daylight hours which I need in order to cope with daily living. (I have Fibromyalgia and suffer non-restorative sleep and need to sleep through into the daytime every day, I also have light sensitive issues that causes pain without a mask.) My quality of life has improved quite noticably becuase of improved daylight sleeping using this mask. I realise it may not be such an 'epiphany' for many others, but even if I were not multi-disabled I would benefit from not having to face the bright sun in the mornings long before rising from bed. This is far cheaper than full blackout curtains and blinds, and portable too so you get the blackout in any room you choose. I disagree with the reviewer who says this does not block out all light, because it does for me. It is utterly black when wearing the mask, and the mask has my familys 'big 'KONK' to deal with. I can not fault this for comfort nor effectiveness in any way whatsoever. So much so that my 6yr old son now has become jealous and wants one as he now sees both Mum and Dad wearing this mask. Mum uses it to try and help relieve migraines, so as a result I just bought another one for her too. An absolute must for a few quid considering the improvemnt they make and how blisfully comfy they are. Go ahead fellas, don't be shy, get that extra sleep you always wanted. Fellow Fibromyalgia (FM) sufferers, you MUST buy this to aid your sleep, comforatbly and non-pharmacologically. Regards Baz
