I bought the light silk duvet, having used the mid year one all winter. They are really lovely to sleep under, though I would say they come up warmer than the tog rating given. I can't imagine ever having to use both the (?9) tog weight with this new one (?4) tog, but as an alternative winter/summer duvet.... and I'm a chilly mortal!

OMG the best purchase I have made this year. Being in the certain female age group I was really having difficulty getting a good nights sleep. The silk duvet does everything it states, you feel as though you are in a temperature controled environment, haven't slept so good in years. I purchased the summer weight as I had been using a polyester 4.5 tog weight which was far too hot, something about polyester! I intend purchasing the 9tog weight when able and would recommend a silk duvet to anyone who can afford them. I have purchased various makes stating they can regulate your body temperature over the past two years and must have spent over the cost of this product so if your considering one GO FOR IT you will not feel cheated as I have on the other makes purchased. Makes the bed look very smart as lays lovely and don't be put off by the word silk it does not slide about or off the bed unless you make it! Washing instructions do recommend you wash twice a year and dry on low setting in tumble dryer, bit too early to try this so cannot comment on how it washes but I know the other polyester types did lump in some instances. Anyway hope you find this useful in making your mind up. PS Also purchased the pillow and eye mask brilliant. 14th Nov, 2011

Having been a fan of the pure goosedown filled duvets for years, I was hesitant about one of these silk filled ones but a friend bought one and was pleased with hers, so I ordered one and, YES!, it is perfect to sleep under being very light and what I like best is how smart and flat it lies on the bed when you make it. Looks so much neater than even a summer weight goosedown one which always has a bit of 'puffiness' to it. I always have used a top sheet under the duvet and with a very high thread count silky cotton sheet, the combination is perfect. Will now probably order a second one to tie the 2 together for a bit more warmth in winter. Anyway, cannot recommend highly enough. 10th Nov, 2011

After extensive research on the internet I found this vendor's prices to be the best and having tried their products (I bought 2 silk pillowcases from them, then 4 more), I decided to go all out and get everything, the sheets, the duvet and the duvet covers. Needless to say my husband was not very pleased but after trying their pillowcases I already had won half the battle. Jasmine silk custom made everything for us and not only were they ahead of schedule with their delivery, the sizes were perfect. Perfect is the word to describe the whole transaction. And the silk bed linen...nothing compares to it, it's like sleeping on a cloud, you have to try it to believe it! 8th Nov, 2011

We thought we had a good comfortable duvet filled with duck down until a friend told us about silk filled duvet's; we bought two from Jasmine Silk, and were delightfully surprised how quick they were delivered, and they came in their own zipped cases; after a week of use we were completely sold on these duvet's; they are light in weight and we were not uncomfortable at all in the summer warmth (yes, we did have a summer this year!!) and now the nights are getting longer we are surprised at just how lovely and cosy they are during the cooler nights. Since we been using silk duvet, both my daughter and my husband's allergy has been a lot better. my husband suffer all year round hay fever, he sneeze all the time, which doing my head in. Since we been using the duvet, he hardly sneeze now! It is amazing! The duvet is so soft, not light, but that is not the purpose of the duvet. Very well made product!
