What is Cashmere?

Cashmere is a material made from the soft underbelly of goats high up in the Himalayan Mountains. These goats don't produce as much in comparison to the vast amount of sheep producing wool so its limited supply, hence why the cost is often higher. But, cashmere is renowned for its softness and warmth so our cashmere gloves and socks will keep your fingers and toes toasty warm! It is very much worth the pretty penny it costs.

How can I wash cashmere?

Cashmere requires a gentle touch to wash, similar to washing silk. It is always best to read the label or take it to the dry cleaner! However if you do want to wash it at home, it is best to hand wash in cool water or on a gentle cycle in your washer but at a cold wash! Don’t pop it in the dryer but let it air dry flat so it keeps its shape and its incredible softness.
